Social.Coop is now a member of Meet.coop, on a three month trial basis. Social.Coop members can use our Meet.coop instance for video conferencing. At the end of the trial period we will vote on Loomio about whether to continue. Once you have an account, you will be able to create meeting rooms for personal use.

If you would like to request an account on Meet.coop, please fill out this form with your details, and someone will get back to you shortly via email.

Personal Info:

If you don't mind, it would be useful for us to know what you're intending to use meet.coop for (it isn't restricted to social.coop business!)

Open Collective:

Contributing through Open Collective is a condition of membership, so applicants must have an existing Open Collective profile, which can be set up here. We invite you to consider increasing your existing contribution given that we are providing this new service in partnership with Meet.coop.

Code of Conduct:

Our existing Code of Conduct also applies on Meet.coop - please read and agree below.

I am over 18, and have read, understood and agree to the terms of use and engagement as written in the Code of Conduct. A summary of the code is below; please be sure to review the full Code via the link.

The Code of Conduct is a living document that outlines acceptable behaviour when members use social.coop Mastodon, Loomio, the Wiki, the Riot chat room, and all other spaces governed by the co-op. Social.coop adopts the “co-op values”: self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity, and solidarity. Our members believe in the ethical values of honesty, openness, social responsibility, and caring for others. We also follow the rest of the ICA co-op principles.

We welcome anyone able to use our services and willing to accept the responsibilities of membership, regardless of qualities such as gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, mental illness, neuro(a)typicality, physical appearance, body size, age, race, nationality, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, family structure, spirituality, religion (or lack thereof), education, or other personal traits.

We particularly celebrate diversity and do not tolerate bigotry, prejudice or supremacy of any kind. Diverse opinions on politics, religion, and other matters are welcome as long as they align with our core values. Let there be no confusion, Social.Coop is anti-racist, anti-fascist, and anti-transphobic. Moderators will take action on posts that contravene this Code of Conduct.
