Errors on updating Nextcloud
Hi Chris,
I got 3 warnings on going to update Nextcloud:
-
"You are currently running PHP 7.0.33-0+deb9u7. Upgrade your PHP version to take advantage of performance and security updates provided by the PHP Group as soon as your distribution supports it." I think this is out of my hands and down to you guys.
-
"Some columns in the database are missing a conversion to big int. Due to the fact that changing column types on big tables could take some time they were not changed automatically. By running 'occ db:convert-filecache-bigint' those pending changes could be applied manually. This operation needs to be made while the instance is offline. For further details read the documentation page about this. mounts.storage_id mounts.root_id mounts.mount_id" I had a look at the documentation here: https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/15/admin_manual/configuration_database/bigint_identifiers.html. Again, I think this down to you guys because a) I don't have the power to put it into maintenance mode (do I?) and b) I don't see how entering a command in a terminal on my laptop could affect the server hosted on your hardware. Please advise on this one and let me know if you need to take it offline for maintenance.

I checked the error log here: https://cloud.assist.coop/settings/admin/logging. There are quite a few errors (generated, curiously, between 25/2 and 6/3), a couple of warnings and 6 or 7 fatals. Nevertheless I suspect that they can be safely ignored. Can you confirm?
I don't think any of these warnings mean I shouldn't update Nextcloud so I intend to do that soon.
Thank you,
Austen
